At the conclusion of their 2008 season, a campaign in which they earned a 10-4 mark and narrowly lost the Lettuce Division title to Vera Cruz, the Manila franchise winning percentage stood at an eye-opening .562, easily one of the top records in FAUX history. Their well-earned wildcard playoff appearance was the franchise's 12th, ranking Manila among FAUX's postseason elite. Their recent back-to-back-to-back postseason appearances comprised the juggernaut's longest playoff streak in their franchise history. Despite their wild success, Manila has suffered postseason misfortune at times. In 1996, for example, a historically impressive 11-3 record garnered only a wildcard berth, thanks to division mate Baltimore's unprecedented 12-win season. Despite their postseason misfortunes, Manila's .562 franchise winning percentage, and 12 postseason appearances sets the franchise apart as one of the league's most formidible teams. One of the most steady teams, the Folders have had only five losing seasons since the league's inception.
